Based out of Lyons, Colorado, Good Manners' sound is grounded in 20's and 30's era swing. Songs like Let's Misbehave, I'm Beginning to See The Light, and Shine will inspire you to get up and jitterbug, even if you don't know how.

Rattlesnake Kate and The Beaver draw from 30's jazz, classic country, R&B and rock. Featuring Colorado natives' Kate Little on guitar and Ian Brighton on rhodes and clarinet, this duo creates an intimate sound rooted in Americana with hints of jazz and samba.
Kate Little grew up in Lyons, Colorado and from a very early age was engrossed in the rich musical traditions of country, swing, and jazz. Today she performs regularly in The Good Manners Band and also appears occasionally with Banshee Tree.
The multi-instrumentalist Ian Brighton performs primarily on woodwinds, and has appeared with a wide variety of groups including The Motet, Devotchka, Bonnie and the Clydes, and Ginga. Currently, Ian performs regularly with Samba Dende, The Michele Castro Quartet and The Good Manners Band.
Brazilian, with grandparents from Ceará and Espírito Santo, daughter of parents from Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, Michele was born in Rio in the Rocinha favela. There, she discovered a passion for music and learned that friendship is like oxygen and family is forever.
